Class Policies

Payment and Attending Classes

  • Please pay before the class starts.
  • Note that some classes may fill.  Regular, current students have priority over new or occasional students in full classes.  Check our schedule for class availability.
  • You may start anytime in classes that have space.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Refunds and credits are generally not available after you have purchased a class pass.
  • Occasional exceptions might be for long term illness or injury.  Requests would need to be made in a timely fashion.

Yoga Class Guidelines


  • Come to class at least 10 minute early. Be prepared to start on time.
  • Please no perfumes or heavily scented products! Many students (and the teacher) are very sensitive to strong scents.
  • Turn off cell phones.  If your phone rings during class, please go turn it off.


  • Yoga is done with bare feet.
  • Wear modest, comfortable clothing that you can move in easily. Avoid baggy clothing as this obscures alignment and may get in the way of your poses. Avoid bulky jewelry.


  • Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Wait a few hours after a heavy meal, or an hour after a light meal before practicing yoga.


  • Drink plenty of water before and after class.
  • Most people will not need extra water during classes. Drinking water during practice actually cools down the “fiery energy” we need to work well in the poses.
  • For safety issues, please leave water bottles in the entry room or the back room.
